Origin:
Bred by Samuel McGredy II (United Kingdom, 1912).
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1913 as 'Earl of Gosford'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet to deep pink, crimson shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Large foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
