Crimson to pink. [Crimson, white center.]. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 2.5". Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), cupped-to-flat, flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Medium, compact, upright. Small, dark green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 1' to 4' (30 to 120cm). Width: 1' to 2' (30 to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b through 10b. Can be used for beds and borders, garden or hedge. Heat tolerant. shade tolerant.

Notes:
Dedicated to Charles-Nicolas Fabvier (December 10, 1782 Pont-à-Mousson - September 15, 1855 Paris), French officer, ambassador and politician. He fought in the Greek wae of independence and retired 1831 with the rank of Lieutenant General. Early references list 'Fabvier' both as a China and as a once-blooming Hybrid China. The found rose "Martha Gonzales" was identified to be 'Fabvier' - see References. Ida Sharp at Rose Hill Garden says about "Martha Gonzales": Single scarlet flowers cover this tidy little plant.
