Discovered by Gerda Nissen (Germany, before 1984).

Found Rose, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Carmine-red to carmine-pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double bloom form.  
Habit:
Tall.  5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Gerda Nissen was of the opinion that 'La Reine' in commerce is misidentified and should be deep carmine-pink as in the "Journal des Roses" illustration. It is currently believed that the rose she identified as "La Reine" is actually 'Mme Victor Verdier'.
