Bloom:
Overall color impression is a mottled cool pink. Moderate, carnation, linseed oil fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Small, fragrant buds.
Habit:
Small, matte, light green, blue highlights foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Breeder's notes:
For breeding purposes only. This is its first flowering (April 2010) at the one year old stage. Its pollen was collected and used in making crosses. The results were uniformly disappointing and it was decided this grex was of little or no value as breeding material. Presumed tetraploid based on pedigree, but unconfirmed. Look closely and you will see subtle striping on most of the petals. This appears to be a spontaneous characteristic, since there are no striped roses in its lineage.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
