Origin:
Bred by Francis Gillot (France, before 1921).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1921 as 'Mémée Azy'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, carmine-pink shading, white edges, orange undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright.  Reddish-purple foliage.
