Bred by Alexandre Bernaix (France, 1898).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1904 as 'Ellen Willmott'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Light pink, salmon-pink undertones, ages to white .  Moderate fragrance.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  

Ellen Willmott (August 19, 1858 - September 27, 1934), English horticulturalist, who cultivated more than 100'000 species of plants in her garden Warley Place. She published "The Genus Rosa" in 1910-14.

'Ellen Willmott' by Bernaix had double blooms. It is often confused with the more recent 'Ellen Willmott' by Archer, which has single blooms.
