Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, 1980).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (post 1970) in 1980 as 'Sunkissed'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow - orange.  Mild, licorice fragrance.  up to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  Medium green, leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower.
