'Rosa carolina var. plena' rose Description

Bloom:
Pink to salmon-pink, darker center, ages to cream . [Pink.] Warm pink fading to white. Moderate, sweet fragrance. Average diameter 1". Double (17-25 petals), very double, in small clusters bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom. Glandular sepals, long sepals buds.
Habit:
Short, bristly , suckers on its own roots, well-branched. Small foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 6' (60 to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer. Can be used for specimen. Very hardy. Blooms tend to ball in wet weather. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
