Light pink, white center. Strong fragrance. Average diameter 2.25". Medium, single to semi-double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Climbing.
Height: 5' to 8' (150 to 245cm). Width: up to 8' (up to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Hardy.

Notes:
An important parent rose. Sets hips. The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden says the breeder of Daisy Hill is Smith... and in Roll Call: The Old Rose Breeder, Brent C. Dickerson says the breeder is T. Smith, Daisy Hill Nursery. The 2002 Catalogue from Pépinières Loubert also says the breeder is Smith and assigns a date of 1906. Jäger says breeder is Desportes. See References for clarification.
