Bred by Brother Stefan Franczak (Poland, 1986).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Fisk's Clematis Nursery as 'Cardinal Wyszynski'.
Class:
Group 3, Large-flowered, Late.  
Bloom:
Red.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 8".  Single, overlapping bloom form.  
Habit:

Height: 8' to 12' (245 to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
