Discovered by Unknown American origin (United States, 1814).
Class:
Herbaceous Group, Late, Small-flowered, Texensis-Viorna Group.  
Bloom:
Average diameter 1".  Nodding, pitcher-shaped bloom form.  Midspring to midsummer.  
Habit:

Height: 8" to 20" (20 to 50cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Plant in soil that drains well.  Plant in sun or partial shade.  Suitable for growing in a container.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
