Discovered by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1997). Discovered by Raymond J. Evison (United Kingdom, 1997).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 2007 as 'Kingfisher'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Guernsey Clematis Nursery in 2007.

Early Large Flowered, Group 2.

Bloom:

Deep blue, yellow anthers. 6 petals. Average diameter 7". Very large, single bloom form. Late spring to early summer, late summer to early autumn.

Habit:

Height: 6'7" to 8'2" (200 to 250cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6a and warmer.
