Introduced in France by Pépinières Arnaud Travers / Clematite in before 2013 as 'Violine'.
Class:
Group 2, Large-flowered.  
Bloom:
Violet-red.  up to 8 petals.  Average diameter 7.5".  Large, single bloom form.  Late spring to early summer, early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 6'7" to 9'10" (200 to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.

The new variety was discovered as a single plant among a group of seedlings of unknown parentage observed by the inventor, Bernard Travers. The discovery was made during 2004. Discovery was made at a commercial nursery in Orleans, France.
