Origin:
Bred by Isaac Anderson-Henry (Scotland, 1870).
Introduced in United Kingdom by The Lawson Nurseries in before 1872 as 'Symesiana'.
Class:
Late Large Flowered.  
Bloom:
Mauve, white , brown anthers.  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 7.5".  Very large bloom form.  Late summer to late autumn.
