Bred by Alfred Carré (France, before 1872).
Class:
Early Large Flowered.  
Bloom:
White, light pink edges, dark purple anthers.  Average diameter 8".  Large, single bloom form.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Dedicated to Zoé Joséphine Martelet (October 31, 1833 Verdun - November 9, 1902 Fontainebleu), who on March 5, 1855 married Bertrand Isidore Salles (February 13, 1821 Sainte-Marie-de Gosse - October 20, 1900 Paris), French author, poet, journalist, civil servant and banker.
