This found rose, "MacCallum House Tea" from Mendocino, California, was thought to be either a deeper yellow sport of Etoile de Lyon or Etoile de Lyon itself. Comparison to plants of Etoile de Lyon demonstrates that they are the same. A list of roses grown at MacCallum House includes Etoile de Lyon, so that identification appears credible. The spelling of "MacCallum" is shown as both MacCallum and McCallum because the owner of MacCallum house used both spellings.
