Introduced in United Kingdom by Fisk's Clematis Nursery as 'C. 'Silver Moon''.

Early Large Flowered.  
Bloom:
Silver(y).  6 to 8 petals.  Average diameter 6".  Single, overlapping bloom form.  Late spring to early autumn.  
Habit:

Height: 8' to 10' (245 to 305cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Suitable for growing in a container.  Tolerates partial shade.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.
