From the description page: "Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar."
Flowers shatter so not much good as a cut flower. Perfume is VERY strong too so not suited to being a cut flower if you are sensitive to perfumes. Would not suit a pillar. Stems strong and straight and not easy to train around tight turns. Suits a wall. Flowers at the top of tall stems. Mine is about 3m tall on a fan.

How lax are the primary canes of Nahema? Is it the sort of lax climber one could train to a low (3' high) fence, or would it always fight with you to try & grow taller than that?

Mine likes to climb straight up to about 12ft (after 3 years) but when the canes break free of their support in strong wind they can bend quite low. 'Nahema' is not suited to pegging down, IMO, because it produces flowers in clusters on long stems that have no axial buds on them. Mine needs to make long, 2ft long shoots to flower well so is hog-tied to a fan-shaped trellis instead.

My Nahema just arrived today from Roses Unlimited. So well packed that it took some effort to get it out of the box! It's already blooming, and the fragrance is FANTASTIC! Even my husband was impressed! I have a feeling that this beautiful rose will definitely be a favorite of ours. I'm planting it on the fence that we share with terrific neighbors, and I hope they'll enjoy her, as well.
