In 1895, Philippe Le Cornu (see) opened The Jersey Nurseries at Almorah. Five years later, he bought the High View Nurseries from his father. The combined nurseries were then known as The Jersey and High View Nurseries. Interestingly enough, their specialty seems to have been trees.
