[From The Rose Garden, by William Paul, p. 25:] A. Paul & Son (1806-1860) Adam Paul founded nurseries at Cheshunt, Hertfordshire in 1806 and continued by his sons, William Paul and George Paul. In 1860, William Paul parted company and founded his own nurseries at Waltham Cross. George Paul, Sr. remained at Cheshunt with his own son, George Paul, Jr., under the name Paul & Son.
