Alexander ['Super Star' x ('Ann Elizabeth' x 'Allgold')]. A vigorous, healthy and tall growing hybrid tea, by Jack Harkness, with bright vermilion flowers and wavy edged outer petals. It was late to commence flowering and the blooms are perhaps insufficiently full for the show bench but it should be useful at the back of a border. This is a rose which has attracted considerable attention from professional growers. Certificate of Merit.
