Introduced in Australia by Joseph Harris, South Yarra Nurseries in 1865 as 'Comtesse de Barbantane'.
Introduced in France by Guillot/Roseraies Pierre Guillot in 1869 as 'Comtesse de Barbantane'.

Bloom:

White, blush shading. Flowers blush, shaded with rose. Moderate fragrance. Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 5b through 10b. Can be used for cut flower or garden.
