Origin:

Bred by Pedro (Pere) Dot (Spain, before 1931).
Introduced in United States by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1931 as 'Rosella'.

Bloom:

Carmine-red to scarlet, golden-yellow undertones, orange undertones. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.

Habit:

Climbing. Glossy foliage.

Height: 8' (245cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
