Bloom:
Pink. Rich rose, pale pink or white. Mild fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 1.25". Small, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles. Attractive fall color foliage. 7 to 11 leaflets.
Height: 5' to 6½' (150 to 200cm). Width: 5' to 6½' (150 to 200cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for specimen. Produces decorative hips.

Notes:
The Peter Beales Collection of Classic Roses 2000-2001 says this rose has fern-like leaves which turn purple and crimson in the autumn. Has been observed with striped petals. R. persetosa Rolfe (1913) R. farreri Stapf ex Cox (1930) Section Pimpinellifoliae.
