'Wendy Cussons' rose Description

ARS:
Medium red Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Wendy Cussons
Bloom:
Rose-red. Deep carmine pink. Strong, damask fragrance. 30 to 33 petals. Average diameter 5". Double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Tall, well-branched. Dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: 39" to 6'7" (100 to 200cm). Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders. Prefers cool sites.. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
