ARS:
Orange blend Portland. Registration name: Bernard

Damask Perpetual, Portland.

Salmon-pink. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 2". Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped-to-flat, rosette bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Height: 2' to 35" (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Pépinières Loubert's 2002 Catalogue provides the date of 1818. Robert as Breeder is not possible (too early). 'Pompon Perpetual' is possibly not a synonym, but a similar rose to 'Bernard'. 'Madame Ferray' also seems to have been a distinct rose.
