Discovered by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1907).
Introduced in France by Pernet-Ducher, Joseph in 1909 as 'Arthur R. Goodwin'.
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1910 as 'Arthur R. Goodwin'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Reddish, coppery orange, aging to salmon-pink.  Mild fragrance.  Medium, semi-double to double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, well-branched.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Parentage: Either from (1) an unnamed seedling x 'Soleil d'Or' or (2) a sport of 'Soleil d'Or'. Refer references.
