'Thelma' rose Description

Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.
Bloom:
Coral-pink, crimson shading, ages to carmine-pink . Mild fragrance. Average diameter 3.25". Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns. Glossy, light green foliage.
Height: 9'10" to 13'1" (300 to 400cm). Width: up to 8' (up to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Very vigorous. Prune after flowering is finished.

Notes:
This rose was named for the breeder's grand daughter who lives in Kerikeri, New Zealand. The black-and-white photo was provided by Vivienne Hawken, the breeder's great-grandaughter.
