Registration name: Princesse de Béarn

Bred by Louis Lévêque fils (France, 1884).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Princesse de Béarn'.

Hybrid Perpetual.  

Red, brown shading, vermilion shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Dark green, blue highlights foliage.  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
