See References for the mysterious history of this rose. A Provins rose named 'Honorine Brabant' bred by Tanne, 1916, is mentioned by an authoritative Dutch reference, the Rozennaamlijst in 1923 and 1931. It was subsequently reclassified as a Bourbon, due to its foliage and occasional rebloom.
