Notes:
Arena Rose Co.'s Catalog 2000 says John Clare® has been described by many as the most floriferous of David Austin's roses. The cupped blooms range seasonally in color from light crimson in cool weather to deep pink in warm weather. This rose commemorates the British poet of the same name.


One of the roses (listed as 'John Clare') in the Rose Introducers of New Zealand (RINZ) 1998 Display Trial.


It was named after the poet, John Clare, for The John Clare Society in the UK.
