Gallica / Provins.  

Light pink.  Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), expanded , rosette bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  

USDA zone 4b through 8b.  

This rose is attributed to Prévost by Boîtard, but Prévost himself does not list it as his own. It is very probably an older cultivar. 'Roi de Rome' as a synonym of 'Nouveau Triomphe' as mentioned by Boitard and others, is based on a statement of Prévost, who was actually listing mislabeled roses he had received.
Napoléon François Charles Joseph Napoléon (1811-1832), son of Napoléon, was proclaimed "Roi de Rome" at his birth, was briefly French emperor Napoléon II, and became Duc de Reichstadt from 1818 onwards.
