Medium red Hybrid Setigera.
Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), before 1885).
Class:
Hybrid Macrantha, Hybrid Setigera.  
Bloom:
Crimson, scarlet shading, purple shading.  Mild fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Large buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing, upright.  Dense foliage.  

Height: 9'10" to 13'1" (300 to 400cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  vigorous.  a good subject for pegging.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Aurelia Liffa was the mother-in-law of Geschwind's two sons. - see References.
According to Erich Unmuth, it is questionable whether 'Aurelia Liffa' in gardens and in commerce is the original Geschwind rose - see References.
The rose growing by this name at the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden may be the same as 'Geschwinds Orden'. And a correspondent via the Internet says this rose is a Hybrid Setigera.
