I'm not quite sure what to make of this, since there is no description:
Catalogue of plants and seeds, which are sold by Conrad Loddiges (1783) p. 21 Rosa indica. Chinesische Rose. Chiney Rose. p. 63 Rosa indica. Chinesische Rose. China Rose.

Hi flodur You are correct that Andrews' Roses: or, A Monograph of the Genus Rosa Volume 2 has a publication date of 1828. The figures and descriptive text were originally issued in parts over a 24 year period (1804 - 1828), with the first volume compiled in 1805, the second volume in 1828. The individual entries compiled in Vol 2 were originally issued between 1805 and 1828. According to Trees & Shrubs Hardy in the British Isles (8th Ed) (W.J. Bean) Andrews' plate and description No 66 - Rosa indica (Parsons' Pink, Old Blush etc) was first issued in 1805.
