Angele Pernet (Pernet Ducher). A light decorative, deep orange coloured flower that is beautiful in all stages. Foliage is glossy green which adds to its charm. Flowers are always clean and are borne profusely. Makes an excellent standard.

Continuant notre évolution vers les jaunes, nous passons par les orangés dorés. N'est-ce pas ici à « Angèle Pernet », cette création de Pernet-Ducher, vieille déjà de 24 ans, que reste la palme ? Elle unit à son joli coloris orangé poudré d'or une excellente végétation, une grande floribondité et un beau feuillage bronzé. Seule, la forme de la fleur n'est pas impeccable, un peu trop globuleuse.

Angèle Pernet (Pernetiana) has large loose flowers of pale orange-red shaded with chrome-yellow, is of good habit and is free-flowering. The foliage is a shiny, attractive bronze-green and is damp-resistant; the flower a fine autumn rose. Pernet-Ducher 1924...Moderate growth. Moderately fragrant...June-Sept. Hardy.
