Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'A. Maillé'.

Crimson, dark red shading.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
