Origin:
Bred by P. J. Looymans (Looijmans) (Netherlands, 1921).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1924 as 'Little Joe'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson - scarlet.  up to 5 petals.  Medium, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The breeder's grandson, Joep Looijmans, provided the image of his grandfather's rose from the Supplement to Amateur Gardening (1925).
