Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, before 1885).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Dickson Nurseries Ltd. / Dickson Roses in 1888 as 'Caroline d'Arden'.
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Caroline d'Arden'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), open, rounded bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.
