Bred by Marie aka Veuve (vve, widow) Ducher (1834-1881) (France, 1878).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Innocente Pirola'.

Tea.  
Bloom:
White, pink shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
