Origin:
Bred by Eugène Turbat & Compagnie (France, 1923).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1925 as 'Auguste Finon'.
Class:
Climber, Hybrid Multiflora, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Salmon-orange.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  very vigorous.
