Bred by Eugène Biron (France, before 1926).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1928 as 'Amateur E. Biron'.

Bloom:
Orange-pink, copper center, rose-pink reverse.  Camellia-shape.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
This rose was created in Mont-Saint-Aignan, near Rouen by Eugène Biron, who worked as a customs officer. It was awarded a Gold Medal at the International Rose Contest in Saverne in 1928. Amadis
