'Benardella's Ruby' rose Description

Bloom:
Dark red. None to mild, spice fragrance. 17 to 27 petals. Average diameter 2". Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, exhibition bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, exhibition or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
