Medium red Hybrid Perpetual.
Origin:
Bred by Eugène Verdier fils aîne (France, 1872).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Thomas Mills'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, blush edges, white stripes.  Rosy carmine with whitish stripes.  Large, very full (41+ petals), cupped, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
