Origin:
Bred by Jan Böhm (Czechoslovakia (former), 1936).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1938 as 'King George's Memorial'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark crimson with dark velvety purple shading.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
