Bred by Pierre-Victor Quétier (France, 1852).
Introduced in Australia by George J. Smith, Royal Exotic Nursery in 1862 as 'Comte de Nanteuil'.

Class:

Gallica / Provins, Hybrid Perpetual.

Bloom:

Pink, darker edges. Flowers bright rose with crimson edges. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 3.25". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular, rosette bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Rounded buds.

Habit:

Light green foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
