Mauve or mauve blend Boursault.
Origin:
Bred by Louis Claude Noisette (France, circa 1815).
Discovered by Wendy Lawrenson (United States, 2003).
Class:
Found Rose, Boursault, China / Bengale, Hybrid Multiflora, Noisette.  
Bloom:
Purple, crimson shading, white streaks, stripes, flecks, ages to light purple .  Ages to purplish pink.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Arching, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Hardy.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
'Michigan' as a synonym is possibly a confusion with the hybrid setigera of that name.
