Introduced in Australia by Edwin Smith, Clifton Nursery in 1885 as 'Jules Chrétien'.

Bloom:

Crimson, purple shading, violet reverse. Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer.
