ARS:
Pink blend Hybrid Multiflora.
Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), before 1885).
Introduced in Luxembourg by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder in 1885 as 'Décoration de Geschwindt'.
Class:
Hybrid Multiflora, Hybrid Rugosa.
Bloom:
Deep pink, violet shading, white outer petals.  None to mild fragrance.  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, flat to cupped, rounded bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns, spreading, suckers on its own roots, upright.  Dark green foliage.

Height: 13'1" to 16'5" (400 to 500cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4a and warmer.  Very vigorous.  prefers full sun.  Feed this rose well.  Requires good cultivation if it is to perform its best.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
White band around the outside of the petals, absolutely no perfume.
Different opinions on parentage, even Geschwind has different statements. We follow his description of 1889, which seems most probable for resulting in the two-coloured bloom.
