Origin:
Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1982).
Introduced in South Africa by Ludwig's Roses as 'Goldmarie 82'.
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 1984 as 'Goldmarie'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, red edges.  Mild, fruity fragrance.  25 to 35 petals.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Medium, glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
