Discovered by John Templeton (Ireland, 1802).

Hybrid Canina, Hybrid Spinosissima.  
Bloom:
Light pink, lighter center.  Small to medium, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Tall, arching, bushy, spreading, upright.  Matte, dark green, leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 4' to 8' (120 to 245cm).  Width: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Hardy.  vigorous.  produces decorative hips.
